| WHAT WERE THEY THINKING?!?!?!?!?!!?! |
Originally, I was considering making Antarctica into a unicorn with the spike on the left as the horn. But I didn't have the puppet warp used for my fantastic emaustralia, so I decided to cut off the horn and smooth the edges because its a real eyesore and add some color. You're welcome.
Personally I think its an improvement.
Yesterday I covered the hidden emu on the flag of Australia, but I also pointed out the terrible inconsistency in the stars. Check it out.
THERES A PERFECTLY GOOD 5 POINT STAR RIGHT THERE BUT YOU CHOOSE TO MAKE THOSE UGLY 7 POINT ONES. AND LOOK IN THE TOP LEFT, THERES EVEN MORE COLORFUL THINGS THAT ARE ACTUALLY CREATIVE. BUT I GUESS I'LL STICK WITH THE THEME OF THE FLAG AND REVERSE THE POSITIONS.
So I tried to put the thing in the top left on the rest of the flag, but it looked a bit messy so I chose to simplify it a bit. Of course I left the hidden emu except I used normal stars. You know, like a normal person would.
It's perfect.
I don't have any photoshop today because I'm at school but I'll try to write them in advance from now on so I don't have trash photo editing (Seriously I need my puppet warp).
Seriously. I need it.

I have never pondered flags in such depth! I love your perspective on the flags and your improvements. What would your flag look like?
ReplyDeleteI must admit, I have never thought as hard about hidden emus and animals in flags as I have after reading your most recent posts. Also, the new Antarctica flag is definitely a much needed improvement. Your revisions of the other flags are definitely improvements. Nice slice!
ReplyDeleteSeeing as no one lives their entire life in Antartica as a general, I would say that very few people would be fighting to change that. However, in the case of the Australian flag, I would have to agree. It is rather inconsistent.
