1. When you go behind someone to not photobomb, but then see they're taking a selfie.
This is extremely awkward, because you inadvertently cause what you were trying to prevent. It's like the matrix... Or not. This has happened to me once, and I felt bad for not knowing what people have devolved to. Or something like that.
2. When you see someone at the supermarket and your parents act like you should know them.
In reality, you probably should know them, but for these circumstances lets say their a second cousins best friends sisters enemies dogs previous owners uncle twice removed. You met them once, right? Including now.
3. When you lose at a game with odds stacked highly in your favor with bets on the table.
I blame Aubrey for this one, HE LITERALLY SUICIDED THREE TIMES IN SMASH PROMISING CAKE IF THEY WON! And it was me and him vs Max, Eli, and Liv (Aubs' sister). Luckily, he was the one paying.
4. When your parents read your blog.
^
Don't
That was sarcasm, its only awkward when they comment.
5. Last but not least, when people ask you why you aren't doing something you usually do. That thing being rant. and rant. and rant.
And rant.
And rant.
And Rant.
And make people scroll down too much.
Nice job! This is really amusing, and very true. I remember number 3 (well, I remember the cake being eaten. It was not a lie), and this is very true.
ReplyDeleteDid I just make a Portal reference? Okay, I'm spending way too much time around Aubrey and Max.
Oh well. Nice slice.
Welcome to the Aperture Science Portal Reference Testing Initiative.
DeleteI love your idea for this post, luckily I don't let my parents read my blog because they don't know too much about how to do so.
ReplyDeleteI really liked #4.
